Massachusets

Massachusetts was founded by John Winthrop in 1788.

It is the sixth state and one of the thirteen colonies.

Years earlier, the pilgrims came to Massachusetts and celebrated the first Thanksgiving, and started witch hunt rumors.

There was also the Battle of Lexington and Concord.

It started after an anger eruption

 after five colonists were killed by British soldiers.

When the British moved to the next location,

Paul Revere was instructed to make his famous proclamation

when the British came.

Five years after the battle ended Massachusetts became a state.
